Eric Mai, M.D.
Dr. Eric Mai is a Board-Certified physician who has been practicing medicine within the St. Louis region for over the past 20 years. He is well-versed in patientcare in both the office and hospital settings. Prior to joining STL Vein and Cosmetics and becoming a Phlebologist, a physician specializing in the care and treatment of Varicose vein disease, Dr. Mai had spent his career caring for people of all ages from children to the elderly, as he focused his talents as a primary care physician.
When he’s away from the office, Dr. Mai enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and two labradoodles. He loves taking long walks with his family and hopes to one day get back to playing tennis regularly, but probably not at his former high school level.
Dr. Mai thoroughly enjoys caring and treating his patients at STL Vein and Cosmetics. He finds great fulfillment and satisfaction in being able to dramatically improve his patients’ quality of life by eliminating the pain, discomfort and often times emotional insecurities that can be associated with Varicose vein disease.
Dawna Kenkel
Director of Operations
Dawna has been with STL Vein and Cosmetics since its doors opened. She brings 25 years of management expertise to STL Vein and Cosmetics. Dawna has over 15 years of management experience in the Healthcare Industry including Podiatry and Vein Care. She attended Mineral Area College. Dawna is a Certified Compliance Office within our industry.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her pets, family and friends. She loves volunteering and enjoys most anything outdoors. Dawna excels in leadership and ensures that patient satisfaction and employee relations are top priority at STL Vein & Cosmetics.
Emily Stolzer, RDMS, RVT
Lead Sonographer
Emily attended the University of Missouri Columbia and received a Bachelors degree in Science. She began her ultrasound career at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital for 4 years where she practiced all areas of ultrasound. She has enjoyed specializing in the treatment of Varicose veins since 2013 and is a valued member of the STL Vein and Cosmetics team.
Emily is a wife and mother to 3 beautiful daughters. She enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and being with her family and friends.
